Sarah Madingwana is a 26 year old founder of Rudo Institute which is in the process of getting accreditation as an Institution of Higher Education. Rudi Institute offers free business development courses to informal businesses owners and unemployed youth and she helps them register for funding with GEP, NYDA and SEDA. When Covid hit us, she had to close down operations. She then volunteered at Samu'esihle which distributed over 300 + food parcels to deserving families in Daveyton. She also registered for 250 SASSA Relief Grant and 4 UIF applicants who don't have access to internet. She is also waiting for deliveries from DGMT, they will be giving us PPE to distribute in informal settlements and other disadvantaged households. As an economic recovery strategy she is also recruiting young people for a learnership program which she is doing with Academy Training Group which is a registered Institution of Higher Education and to-date she has recruited 120 young people between 18 - 28 year olds which are unemployed.
