About Lesego Tau:
Known by many South Africans as an Author, Human Development Practitioner, Inspirational Speaker, Impact Entrepreneur and a Community Activist. He has captured and captivated many minds with his suave and tenacious way of delivery. He has stood on many stages such as Gauteng Department of Health, Investec, Universities, Colleges and the Gauteng/Free State Department of Education, addressing teachers, parents and scholars in more than 150 secondary schools. He inculcates knowledge in the simplest way of creating dialogue with his audience; with more than 10 years in the Speaking and training field, Lesego Tau affectionately known as “Rarebreed”  has addressed an extensive number of audiences; this ranged from Media appearances, Seminars; Specialized Trainings, Team Building, Life Coaching and Executive Program Moderating. All his practises made him one of South Africa's finest contributor in the subjects of Impact Entrepreneurship, Psychosocial Talks and Self-Empowerment Seminars. His life is driven by a quote that he generated as a slogan "An opportunity visits an available person." 

Academic Profile 
As part of his academic developments, he completed a broadcasting management professional course with Rhodes University also exploring Applied Drama and Theatre Methodologies at the Wits Drama School; he decided to undertake this training to help him catalyse dialogue amongst his audience and to help the society to reflect on action around issues of risky behaviours and social justice issues. As all his involvements created a business like environment; he then scored a scholarship for an Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation course with the Wits Business School. He has numerous Skills Development credentials; being noted as a constituent Assessor and Moderator in NVC.

He is also known through numerous media platforms as an Inspirational contributor on Impact Entrepreneurship and Psychosocial engagements. SABC 1, Moja Love, Mail and Guardian, Drum Magazine, The Star, Jozi FM, Soweto TV, Caxton, Daily Sun, Sowetan, DSTV Impendulo, WestSide FM, Lekoa FM & East Wave FM.

He is the Director at Touch Motive Consulting; a character building entity that deals with, Workplace Conflict Management Interventions, Workplace Emotional Intelligence Workshops, Work readiness programmes, Workplace/Personal Mentoring & Coaching, Prioritizing Skills, Planning Skills, Goal Forecasting, Mental Well-being interventions, Team Building, Customer Service Best Practice Workshops and Public Speaking Capacitation Workshops.

He is the founder of Township Narratives, a creative writing programme that coaches and mentors young people to become published authors; to date, Township Natives has published 14 young authors.  

He is the Team Leader at the LESEGO TAU EDUCATION FOUNDATION, a social education none profit organization that hosts young professionals with the view of impacting the youth through multi-disciplinary development programmes such as;  Bursary and Scholarship Scouting, Life Coaching, Personal Development Workshops Skills Development, Employment Scouting, Academic Achievements Awards, Educational Excursions, Leadership Camps, Community Educational Dialogues, Cultural Exchange Programmes, Art and Sport Festivals, Juvenile Prison Support and Crime Prevention Interventions 

He promotes Role Modelling:
The vacuum of role models in South Africa cannot be disputed; it is a sad reality that some individuals that young people see as role models, do not give open opinions on issues of importance and substance.  Active role modelling influences action and stimulates young people to strive to uncover their true potential and overcome their weakness. We need to impress upon our young people, that; resilience, commitment and perseverance does lead to recognition.
