Keamogetse graduated with Hons in Ecological Sciences but her passion was always in Water Care and Utilization. She joined the Department of Water and Sanitation in 2016 to learn their line of work from scratch. She has proved her abilities in Water Quality section and has the following achievements to prove her hard work: Short course in Water Quality Management and Effluent Treatment, Short course in Operation of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Short course in Modelling and Simulation of Wastewater Treatment Process and she has also met the requirements of River Health Programme as a SASS5 practitioner. Through her hard work and dedication, Miss Molefe is now recognized as a Professional Natural Scientist South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions.
Keamogetse Molefe (Pr.Nat.Sci) practices the Principles of Batho Pele and she works on weekends without expecting extra income to make sure the community has access to clean water. Through lockdown, she was part of the team that had virtual meetings at 1am as some colleagues only had night data bundles. She also visited several rivers during lockdown to test River Health using macroinvertebrates. She believes that team work makes the dream work.
